Excellent Food, Personable Atmosphere - 05/01/2006

This old world style Italian restaurant is too good to keep it secret. I learned of Bruno's by word of mouth and was happily satisfied when I ate there the first time over two yrs ago. It has fast become the first choice where my family gathers for a dinner out. The food is above excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. Often, Bruno himself is there with a hearty handshake and a warm hello showing you he appreciates your visit. Whatever dish you order (I usually go with a special), you can count on a healthy size portion at a very reasonable price. Check out this small town BYOB with a relaxed style - I assure you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant/pizzeria is a classic diamond in the rough. It is off the beaten path, and offers an old style dining atmosphere. It is byob, but is convieniently located right next to a liquor store. The food is excellent with my personal favorite being the penne vodka. You get soup or salad, three different types of bread (warm rolls, tomato bread, garlic/oil bread). You will never leave hungry. Prices are more than reasonable.

Whatever you select from Bruno's extensive menu is outstanding. His Tomato Pie as an appetiser starts off your dining experience with a big flavorful addition to the salad or homemade soup. Believe me you will have your doggy bag to take home your leftovers from your entree of choice as most people cannot finish the entire meal. If you have room for his many deserts, they too are tops. Try this restaurant and you'll be a regular visitor whenever the taste buds need a touch of Italy..........
