Leaming’s Run Gardens
Leaming’s Run Gardens features a collection of 25 themed gardens, a fernery, and a shady bamboo grove. It also houses bridges, ponds and nooks to add to these intricate gardens.

The History of Brigantine Beach
Brigantine Beach is known as one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in all of South Jersey. Its story begins in the 1500s. The Lenape Indians called the beautiful island "Watamoonica," which means "summer playground."

Wharton State Forest
Wharton State Forest, in Hammonton, is the largest single tract of land within the New Jersey State Park System. It is also the site of Batsto Village, a former bog iron and glassmaking industrial center from 1766 to 1867 that currently reflects the agricultural and commercial enterprises that existed here during the late 19th century.
Throughout Wharton are rivers and streams for canoeing, hiking trails (including a major section of the Batona Trail), 500 miles of unpaved roads for mountain biking and horseback riding and numerous lakes, ponds and fields ideal for wildlife observation.

Edelman Planetarium
Local school children and residents are welcome to join the Rowan community in reaching for the stars in the University's Edelman Planetarium. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of shows and special events designed to educate and entertain, advance viewers' understanding of the universe, and provide up-to-date astronomical information.

Paws Farm Nature Center
Mount Laurel's Paws Farm Nature Center encourages the animal-human bond and attracts more than 50,000 visitors annually.
